I have 4 of these drives running in the third volume in my Synology NAS right now. No issue except that the transfer is half slower than my second volume with five Exos 16 drives. I can get about 360 Mbps with the Exos volume but only about 180 Mbps with the EDGZ volume.

From previous discussion, nobody knows the drive inside .Expect it to be a non-shuckable 5400 RPM drive, so you don't get your hopes up.
Dang was hoping to get one for the NAS.

Any performance benchmarks? What type of volume array are you running?

I got the 18TB WD Elements version, pretty sure it's the same drive. It take around 10 seconds to wake when it goes into sleep mode, and is VERY LOUD.
