You get that on Visible? Not sure if you're implying that was good or bad but I'm on Mint Mobile and I don't get any restricted speeds unless there is tower congestion. I get 300-400mbps on 5g in some areas.
He's talking about tethering speed. You're talking about bandwidth.

For those of you who are using Visible, what's your download speed on 4G network? I'm using Cricket and have download speed of ~70mbps.
really depends, I got 20-40 at home, but 200-400 at home depot near me (use speedtest.net for testing

If so, I think they're quite close. Visible claims tethering speed is capped at 5M (in fact, peers get 10M), 5M /8bit = 640k, 10M->1280k, close enough

Aren't you deprioritized with Visible? Versus this where you're more directly on the t-mobile network? Sorry, newbie here when it comes to these plans.
I'm in Walnut Creek in roughly the Bay Area of SF so heavily populated and I have not experienced any slowdowns with data or calling issues. I suspect it all has to do with one's location, phone, and need for speed. Really no issues for me. We also have a phone on Mint and it's also been fine. Not sure if there is any difference between Metro vs Mint.

Couple Questions:

a) does $25 include fees and taxes
b) how long does porting process takes?
c) anyone switching from HelloMobile?
d) is samsung a32 really free?

Thank you

Is this better than ATT Prepaid assuming just on data speed?
My att is kind of spotty or slow in certain areas so how well does Metro do?
Att is joke , 1/10 speed comparison with T-Mobile in most areas

We currently have Sprint (have not upgraded to TMobile), does Metro operate using the Sprint / T-Mobile towers? Our reception currently good but Metro monthly price would be less than what we are paying. I don't want to switch if my coverage reception would drop off.
Metro uses T Mobile towers

The lack of hotspot stinks.
It's a $25 unlimited deal…what else do you expect?

I have this plan and I get great coverage in NYC, I use 40-60GB per month and don't get throttled.

Your metro billing date will be 1 month from start date, so doesn't matter when you start your plan.

Visible runs real good here in NY on Verizon network but this is a good deal for folks who don't want hotspot/tethering and have good T-Mobile coverage

Metro still makes you contact them and pay a fee whenever you switch phones. They lock your sim to whatever phone you activate on their network.
It's free to swap phones. Don't put out lies

Good for them but I wouldn't bank on it happening every time.
