The hard part is to figure out how to stop the critters from eating all your plants. For my garden bed, I had to build a big enclosure with chicken wire on all sides (even the top). Some people will point out that chemicals from pressure-treated lumber are bad for you. If that's a concern, use cedar or line the PT wood with thick food-grade plastic sheets.

Not sure where the OP photo came from, but I did not see it on the prior listing, nor at Lowes website. I have never used these and curious what they looked like loose that answered a question I had. They will not work with 4x4 corners that I have a stack of same in redwood.

Thanks, I will look for them. Although an advocate of joinery, some of the creations made with these are cool as both structural and visual accents. I was thinking about making some garden carts out of the redwood I have left and powder coating these and the screws. The black looks good, but maybe even a gold or silver.
