I use these to locate shorts on circuit boards. They make short work of it, pun intended.

Checking for cold/hot spots in your home to see if the insulation is doing the job. That or ghost adventures.

Thanks for posting. Would be a killer deal if it was USB-C, but I do see that they are including a USB-C adapter with it. Would be cumbersome to use though...

Saw this on their site before and came here to look at past history. Unfortunately I'm an iPhone user so not the best option for me but went ahead and ordered anyways with the hopes of using it with a Kindle Fire Tablet.

Shucks like others said I'd be all over it if it was type c. Micro is way out-dated.

Listing is confusing. Is this the Pro or Pro LT? Seems the Pro, based on resolution.

Not a bad price. The $150 deal was the LT, which has a much lower resolution. $50 more for twice the resolution? Worth it.

Been waiting for a deal to return. Thanks OP.

Don't worry, no confusion here. This is a good deal if you can deal with micro-usb. This is the pro version, not the pro-LT which has a smaller sensor. Confirm model number with flir direct.

I was just looking at the therml cameras during the day. Not perfect with the micro USB connector but I think I can live with it won't be using it regularly. Grabbed one. Thanks OP.
PS, are there USB C male to micro USB female data cables? Didn't find such at Amazon.

Can the battery inside replaceable? I think I read somewhere the FLIR One devices doesn't use the phone to power the device so if the battery inside FLIR One Pro is out of power, then you need to recharge it before can use it again...(?)

I was in market recently, and figured FLIR is way over priced, bought one from Infiray (they are one of the few make their own sensors) which has 256*192 resolution for around the same price of FLIR pro version. FLIR's app features some imaging enhancement that might help a bit for the image quality but you wont find cheap ones with usb-c.

I also read that you need to keep it charge since if it dies, then it would brick the device.
