Another issue reported is the loud fan noise.
Sometimes I spend 10 seconds finagling with the power button to get it on. And this is after sending it in for service and having them replace it.
Hardware lockups never show up during diagnosis so they refuse to do anything about it. I've reformatted 7-8 times and the issue shows up both in Windows 10 and 11. I do IT so I know about diagnosing issues like that. I also have like 10 computers in the house - none of them lock up like this one.
Really frustrated with their inability to let me have reliable working laptop.
From experience, what's the minimum nits you need to be able to use a laptop outdoors on a sunny day, for basic use, e.g. Word, Excel, email, web, etc.?

A 300nits (minimum) matte panel would be usable outside. But for a glossy or glary panel, you'd probably need a 400nits screen at least.
