when its say's airtight container its should say 5 piece, its not like without the top its going to be air tight, i don't understand counting the cover/top as a separate piece by sellers

Just like the 367 piece tool sets that have two 7/13ths sockets, one 7.3 MM wrench and 364 random driver bits. Just say it's a 3 pc tool set with 364 extra 10 cent bits.

This IS a 5 pc set. LOL

Plastic will stain when keeping tomato sauces and such. Wash normally then place containers out in the sun will rid your plastic containers of stains and and food smells.

I have the same set and love them.
They are great for storing produce and sending food with the kids for lunches. Storage is kind of a pain as they don't really nest, but we typically have them in the fridge full of left overs or produce.

He friend told me about an amazing way to get stains and grease out of plastic containers. Add a little water and dish soap in the container, then tear off some paper towels in there. Close lis and shake vigorously in all directions. Stain and grease are gone. Seriously works
