I've used both the Nest Wifi Routers and the original Google Routers and the Nest Routers are definitely better and worth the extra price IMO. They can actually hit my GBPS speeds without any issues.

I'm assuming google is working on a Nest Wifi 6 version, which is why these are on sale. Just keep in mind these are still AC (Wi-Fi 5)

Have 3 nest routers and a Google router running across a 1200 sqft with a large basement. Use it to power all my smart gadgets but I run a different network with Wifi 6 for gaming and 4k. I think they are great as long as the mesh gets low interference and are close enough to one another. Took me some tweaking to make it work.

This or Orbi? I am floored by how much these whole house systems are now. I remember when paying 80 bucks for your wireless router was expensive

The extra router can used as a access point for your mesh set up. The routers have a Ethernet input and output, the access point don't have them. The access points have a speaker and microphones (it has a hardwire switch to turn off the mic) for Google Assistant. You could this package for either 2 smaller to medium sized residence or 1 very large residence.

I've used both and I found eero pro 6 to be solid. I've heard some horror stories about the eero, but I've never had any issues with them. Rock solid.

Have this same setup on my 3,500sqft home. They been nothing, but solid. Any little hiccups and Google customer service is excellent.

WiFi 6 isn't really a factor yet anyway

Average internet speed in the US is 125Mbps. WiFi 6 is really of no benefit to that average user with the added cost of a good WiFi 6 mesh network. The cost vs return is not even there for that user. That being said this is a great deal. Google took 3-4 years to upgrade to this model. I say another year or two till WiFi 6. When asked about it last year they stated they don't see AX6 quite ready for prime time with the masses yet as far as equipment using it.

This is a two pack with 1 router and 1 point, not 2 of each.

Depends on your ISP max bandwidth. If your only getting 200 Mbps then WiFi6 while being future proof you will not get the max speed capable of that equipment since the provider isn't providing 1Gbps+. The other thing is how many devices have WiFi6 capability in your home. In my home I have 4 out of 100+ and I like technology. Of those 4 I opted to have 2 wired directly back to my switch for better reliability. It really doesn't benefit me or most users yet.

I probably have 1 or 2 wifi6 devices, but I read the range in Eero way better. I actually picked up the Eero at best buy with the 15% recycle coupon. I also have the nest still in the box I got for$250. I suppose I can compare, but this buydig deal seems pretty good.
