It's been 69 on and off throughout the year. It's now 62.10 after 6.90 coupon which is the lowest recent price.

Highly rated light duty driver. At 1.4 pounds, it's 0.6 pounds lighter than the comparable Milwaukee M12 Screwdriver which is also 69 at Home Depot if you prefer that.

NOTE: This is a preorder with estimated ship date of mid January. >Usually ships within 3-4 weeks

For those unfamiliar a reminder that, despite it's looks, this is not an impact driver. The setting ring has the usual incremental clutch settings along with a drill setting for use with hex shank drill bits. Great little driver but it's good to understand what you're getting.

What can it used for if not impact driver 😖
It's a drill / driver without an adjustable chuck. It's slightly lighter and considerably shorter than the 12v standard drill. If you want an impact driver look elsewhere…at impact drivers.

this is good for delicate woodworking such as cabinetry and furniture making/assembling where you don't want to overdrive screws.

Actually, any drill with a clutch can do that. I contend this is a lightweight driver for anything short of heavy torque applications. It will work in nearly all assembly and disassembly jobs. Probably good for 90% of anything someone might do around the house.

All these little Bosch tools are great and somewhat overlap in their capabilities, but one or the other might fit your specific needs better.

Drill: has a 3-jaw chuck to accept any bit, hex or round, up to 3/8" shank. Also has an adjustable clutch that allows you to dial in a controlled and repeatable torque for precise driving of small to medium sized screws without overdriving or stripping out the hole.

Pocket Driver: Basically the same as the drill but with a 1/4" quick change chuck. This makes it smaller and more convenient than the drill, but limits you to 1/4" hex shank bits.

Impact driver: Much like the pocket driver, but loses the adjustable clutch and adds powerful rotational impacts for driving in larger screws. You get more oomph, but it lacks precise control for driving smaller screws.

Agree, I've been beating up drill/drivers as impacts for 40 years, decks, cement, construction, etc. LOOOONG before brushless and lithium. Another bonus: the pet dogs don't think they are being shot at hearing the impact.

Shorter version: if you are asking if it will work as an impact for you, it will. Any dedicated contractor will know the difference.

You've just explained the existence of hydraulic impact drivers

The Bosch says it has 265 in lbs of torque while the Milwaukee only has 175 in lbs of torque.
I've owned an older version of this Bosch drill and loved it to no end, until I broke it.
Then I bought this same Milwaukee a few months ago and really like it too!

The Bosch was definitely stronger and handled anything I threw at it including lag bolts.
The Milwaukee is nice in that you're getting into the M12 system and has some good extensibility.

Better is relative to those already in the Milwaukee ecosystem. The OP mentions both in the main post...if you'd bothered to read.
