I love this shoe but it wears out too fast. It's mainly a treadmill running shoe. This is based on buying 3 pairs and for me they wear out in 3-4 months with daily walking. The nimbus and kayano gets more wear since the rubber is harder. If this was the Nimbus or Kayano I would buy myself 3-4 pairs at this price. Overall, still a good price.

I love this shoe but it wears out too fast. It's mainly a treadmill running shoe. This is based on buying 3 pairs and for me they wear out in 3-4 months with daily walking. The nimbus and kayano gets more wear since the rubber is harder. If this was the Nimbus or Kayano I would buy myself 3-4 pairs at this price. Overall, still a good price.

I agree that these don't last as long as they used to. I'm a casual runner and am able to get a year from these though. For me, its the cloth upper that gives way first. I bought some shoe repair patches that covers the hole from the inside to extend the life a bit.

I hate that companies are intentionally making shoes that have to be replaced so often, but buying a pair anyways

I love the Nimbus models but grabbed a pair of these to tryout. Let's see how long they last on combination surface running: treadmill, asphalt, concrete, rubber track, and grass

Only owned ONE pair of Brooks, at the recommendation of a pro running brick & mortar store staff (who always steered me right before). Paid over $100, didn't last 3 months w/ casual jogging, bottom blew out....NEVER AGAIN.

I agree with comments that the cloth uppers aren't very durable, but these shoes are soooo comfy. I have other shoes that I run in, I use these for daily dog walks. Couldn't be happier, they are great.

Great find, OP! Been needing to replace my worn out pair and I put a pair in my Amazon cart, but they sold out before I got home to buy them. Bonus points for listing the Asics website as they had my size and there's a store nearby, so pick up is free!
