Just FYI, I am a huge fan of Brother. As I mentioned in another thread, I replaced my 10year old refurbished B/W printer a couple of days back. The only problem, it had, was a yellow patch on the scanned docs (which was accepted by all places where I had to submit scanned documents, including government offices).
My previous color printer was a Dell (refurbished) laser. It is showing paper jam all the time, where there is no paper jam ... most likely one or more sensors went bad. I am not too happy about the price, as I paid only $100ish+tax for the Dell. But looks like the higher price is becoming a norm.

I got it mostly for printing board game related things like dividers and print and play games and it seems good so far.

Valid point though. Still nice to have one for those that want to keep it off the wifi for various reasons like having to deal with setting a static IP, but saving money on the port is 100% why Brother would do this.
