Overuse of antibacterial products can reduce the healthy bacteria on your skin. They are also bad for septic systems. The action of washing your hands is enough to remove most germs, regardless of what type of soap you use.

All soap will kill germs and you do NOT need antibacterial soap in most common settings. You're breeding supergerms.

FYI, this is not antibacterial soap and will not kill germs.

Soaps don't actually kill germs. They just slough them off your hands.

https://www.fda.gov/consumers/con...-and-water

"According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), there isn't enough science to show that over-the-counter (OTC) antibacterial soaps are better at preventing illness than washing with plain soap and water. To date, the benefits of using antibacterial hand soap haven't been proven. In addition, the wide use of these products over a long time has raised the question of potential negative effects on your health."

How is this soap for removing oily film from hands? I've been using Dial for a few months, but I never feeloke it gets my hands very clean. Softsoap always felt cleaner (and I got some on the last amazon deal), but I'd prefer to use refills instead of buying a bunch of pumps, provided this cleans well.

Soap destroy the lipid layer. Not that big a deal on your hands but a big deal for small organisms.
