There seems to be some haters here....

This tablet is AMAZING for the price. Here is a rundown of the pro's and cons.

Pro's:
1. It's a Chromebook, HUGE advantage such as updates until June 2028, updates by google, frequent updates. Chromebooks are considered to be the most secure OS around (besides Linux). So it is safer and more secure then apple OS or Microsoft OS or Android.
2. The screen is nice. Not great for outdoors since it goes up to 400 nits, but considering that laptops are sold today that only go up to 250nits... this screen is pretty good. The Fire HD10 screen has 440nits.
3. Battery life is INCREADABLE... this is due to a weak CPU/GPU. Lenovo states over 16 hours... I get over 12.
4. has 3.5mm headphone jack
5. Chrome is the full windows based app, so addons would work on this browser. Chrome on Android is not a full version of Chrome... this is truly a HUGE advantage.
6. No bloatware on Chromebooks per google.

Cons
1. Speakers are weak but this is a tablet... my Samsung tab S7 speakers are not as good as my $10.00 Bluetooth speaker. Also, my 9 year old has not complained once about the speakers.
2. ONLY 32 GB hard drive and no micro SD card. While this is low, you get over 18G of free space after all updates are done. This is plenty of space for many apps such as Facebook, messenger, brave, gmail, hotmail, etc...
3. Some apps may not work... the only two that I know is Call of Duty and Sky: Children of the Light. One issue is that this Chromebook is running 32bit Android 9 OS under the Chrome OS. Call of Duty last update made the game a 64bit game, it use to work but no longer does. And the other game only works on SD and apple CPU. Every other app that I wanted has worked. great. And this tablet can run Linux apps and if you want mind craft you will need to enable Linux and download and run the Linux version.

So I highly recommend this tablet... we have not had one issue with this tablet. I purchased this tablet for my 9 year old and she plays Roblox all the time.

There are four tablets that have extremely similar speeds and each app/game should work very similar between the 4 tablets.....

Lenovo P11 = Samsung TabA (4GB version) = Fire HD10+ = Lenovo Chromebook 10e. The SD662 and the MT8183 are very similar in speed. Based on this list, there is only one Chromebook tablet and based on the advantages of a Chromebook OS... to me it is a no brainer get the Lenovo 10e.

IF YOU GET THIS TABLET... PLEASE READ....
1. First thing to do is to update this tablet, youtube how to update the Chrome OS (it is not through setting... but through Chrome). You need to update this tablet three times before it is fully updated and this took me a long time.

2. Google wants you to stream through Chrome. So google has provided widevine Level 1 support only through Chrome and not through any app. So my advice, if you want to stream in HD quality is to use Chrome and go to netflix.com or amazon.com or hbo.com or disney.com etc... ALSO, this saves harddrive space cause you never downloaded and installed the app.

3. Try not to run to many apps at once and try not to have to many tabs opened in Chrome at the same time. So you need to learn how to close apps. It is very easy to never close an app and then you notice your tablet slowing down. If you want your tablet to run at peak performance limit the amount of apps you have going on at the same time. This statement can be said for most tablets on the market.

4. There is a small learning curve to understand how to use Chrome OS. Just be patient and use YouTube as a guide.

Super unlikely, as this tablet uses an older build of the CPU that is used in the fire hd. This one is 2.0g w four cores and the fire hd is 2.0g w eight cores.

Got this during the sale last month and wasn't able to find an aftermarket folio case/stand so I ended up getting the oem Lenovo folio/keyboard case. The keyboard to tablet connection is too sensitive as it constantly disconnects if you happen to be moving it around. The issue is that it doesn't connect using bluetooth but through four magnetic pogo pins on the bottom of the tablet. Might not be an issue if you use this on a desk or hard surface, but I use mine while on the couch or in bed and it just gets annoying. Hope there is some kinda fix for this in the future or a better aftermarket alternative. Just a heads up in case anyone is looking to get this case/keyboard.

wondering if this will be faster than Fire 10 [2019], which oftentimes is so damn slow
I just updated my 2017 Fire10 using Fire Toolbox and the performance improvement has been remarkable. I did not install a launcher. Previously I had side loaded the Google Play store. It worked, but was slow. Very pleased with the results.

What do you mean by 'updated'? In what ways?

With toolbox, one can do such things as hiding apps, perhaps suspending apps, installing Google Play

I guess "updated" was not the correct term. What I meant was that I reformatted it with FT vs. the side-loading I had done previously. For me, it made a big difference.

For price it's ok, I used couple Samsung tablets. Those will last 2-3 years and it's cheap enough to upgrade.
I also have older gen iPad, because the system update, it's too slow to used.

Same deal during Thanksgiving. I ordered it and returned.
It comes with Low power Charger.
Takes hours to charge.
And has old hardware, which eventually slow down the device (way sooner).
Build quality is not great.

Well that is what you expect from a $99 device. I didn't find it was worth it.
I am not here to completely mock your post BUT....

Your complaint about the low power charger... Well, at least it gives you a charger and yes for a few bucks you can buy a faster PD charger. And you are complaining about how long it charges with a low power charger???? It actually charges fast and I believe it can take a PD 45 watt charger which is incredible.

Now you talk about old hardware. And how this old hardware slows down a device sooner... I have NO IDEA what the hell you are talking about. This tablet is equal in speed to the P11, Tab A7 and Fire HD10+. This is a budget tablet but the thing is... it is hard to believe how fast this thing is for $99... not how slow it is.

What do I expect from a $99 device that will not make money from future subscriptions.. I expect a tablet half this speed with 2GB of RAM. I would not expect this hardware which is amazing.

I don't think you understand what is worth or worthless.

I have been using this from last one month. It is amazing but sometimes I feel that its running slowly and apps lag. Anyone want to suggest any way to improve performance? Did anyone installed some other OS on this for better performance?
The bottom line is that this has only 4GB of RAM and the CPU/GPU is not that strong.

This is what I do to keep this tablet running at peak performance, I would give the exact same advice for the P11, A7 and Fire HD10+;
1. Update your tablet!!!! Search how to upgrade the OS on youtube, it is not done through setting but done through Chrome.

2. Try to run one app at a time. Also when you are using Chrome, try not to have to many tabs going at the same time. Make sure you check to see if you have multiple apps running at the same time.

3. I downloaded an app called "killapps". I like using this app, it clears out the memory. I use this app once aver week or so. When you do use Killapps, make sure it is the only app currently running.

If you take my advice I would think you will never have any issues.

Don't know what FT is.

But I felt the 2017 Fire HD10 was slow... like so slow that it was not enjoyable to use. When Amazon came out with the Fire HD10 2019 with the MT8183 CPU/GPU, it changed everything. For the MT8183 was actually fast enough to provide a decent tablet experience.

Hmm.. I gave my review. It doesn't mean everyone has the same feeling or experience like me. But in any event, if you are happy by contradicting what I said, I will take it. I am not here to mock your response.

This with a keyboard case vs a Duet?

And would a volume booster app take care of most of the sound issues?
If you are okay with ony 32 gig (18 free after os), i would get this over the duet as both share the same screen and cpu specs. The duet's keyboard can break from too many open/close, so it would be a good idea to not even have it attached if you did not intend to use the keyboard much.

anyone can comment on the display and sound? just need a netflix machine for kids when out and about; compare to maybe the hd 10
the display is fine. The speakers aren't that great, but it has a real headphone jack.

The keyboard case that was made for these is good, but bulky. It not a bad cheap tablet. Probably one of the best "historical" buys on a cheap tablet imho.

I just don't understand how you can say this tablet was slow and that is why it is cheap when it is the same speed all all the $200 tablets.

I feel your review was with your nose in the air.

The TRUTH is that this tablet is incredible... F'n INCREADABLE for the price and the GPU/CPU and having 4GB of RAM is like WOW all this for only $99.00 and no bloatware updates until June 2028.

And you complained that they actually gave us a charger??? and you made this comment about old hardware will eventually slow down???

Please explain how the CPU/GPU will slow down eventually cause in ten years from now, I say the CPU and GPU will be exactly as fast as it is right now.

Last month, ordered it was same price via eBay. It switched to develop model. It was installed several apk apps to play video and read books.
The cpu and display performance is not good.
