What do you mean? We've been burning wood wick candles for years and they burn like any other candle, they just crackle along the way.

Yes it is a candle. They have wood wicks that make a larger flame and crackling sound. They are really nice. I am not familiar with this scent but I have had many woodwick brand candles in the past and they smell amazing.
I didn't bother to call them, instead, I filled out their return form online. When it asked for the reason, I chose the "broken" option, and it asked me to drop the item at FedEx. I was surprised as well.
