It's only 4 pounds of seed. And if it grows quick then it's probably an annual grass seed that will die anywhere north of TN.

20% seed, 80% organic matter... If you care about bang for your buck, your better off with buying just seed and a few bags of whatever organic matter ( I just use some dirt and some straw)

Tip: visit your local grass farm co-op for the best seed for your region.. It's more affordable than you think and your getting actual seed with minimizing potential filler and weed possibility
