The employees are either dumb about the promotion or very mean/misunderstanding the deal.
Im looking for an insider code please, thanks!

How can people pay $50 for 10 lines then? Should be at least $100+ then, if you have 2-3 paid lines, and then minus the 20% at best, no?
And I guess you would lose one plus promos, which you won't need when on max and likely any other goody promo you might have like beta digits or so?

When I did the math, the 20% discount alone isn't enough for me to switch if I keep the same amount of lines that I currently have (4 paid lines + 2 Free).
That said, I was able to figure out how I could make this work, if I got a code. I would have to drop 2 paid lines (which, I'd be willing to do), keep 2 paid lines and transfer them to Magenta Max, and the 2 free lines would be switched to Magenta Max without issue. That would come out to $112 with the 20% discount, covering 4 lines and be a dollar less than my current "kickback" promotion pricing.
In speaking with a couple representatives today, they were able to explain how it's determined if the free lines would transfer over or not. From how they described it to me, the free lines have to have been on your T-mobile account for at least 1 year to date and in addition to that, cannot be linked as a promotion to the current paid plan that you're on..
Lucky for me, my 2 Free lines were added separate and apart from my One (Plus Upgrade promotion) including kickbacks, so that is why both of the free lines would not be lost. For some of you that have mentioned reps telling you that you'd lose the free lines, it's likely due to it being part of the promotion when you got your current paid plan (e.g. Add New Line, get one free).
