T-Mobile will offer their famous insider hookup 20% off for life promo to existing customers starting January 6th.

Existing customers who are not on Magenta MAX will need to switch to the MAX plan and can then redeem a code for 20% off all voice lines on the account.

Existing Magenta MAX customers can simply redeem a code once available.

Employees will receive 1 code for new customers (port-in from competitor to new account) and 1 code for existing customers. If you know someone that works for T-Mobile, be sure to ask them for one!

Depends. You likely pay more and get more features, the question is if you are willing to pay more and if the features are worth it to you, I guess.

Netflix essentially stays the same, I guess, but you get extra roaming speed internationally, extra tethering speed, and can't be "slowed down" if you consume an insane amount of data. And you likely can take advantage of better upgrade offers, but that may come at a price. Might as well pay for the upgrade and save monthly.

And those juicy upgrade offers are not guaranteed for the future, they may just have been a teaser to lull you over right now and get anybody on Magenta to improve profitability in the long run. .
