T-Mobile will offer their famous insider hookup 20% off for life promo to existing customers starting January 6th.

Existing customers who are not on Magenta MAX will need to switch to the MAX plan and can then redeem a code for 20% off all voice lines on the account.

Existing Magenta MAX customers can simply redeem a code once available.

Employees will receive 1 code for new customers (port-in from competitor to new account) and 1 code for existing customers. If you know someone that works for T-Mobile, be sure to ask them for one!

My brief scan - I thought I read that of the lines exceeded 13 on an account, the 20% discount dropped off....

Update: i have MagMax plan. I did go to store and was told as well as on phone that "in order to get the 20% discount, I will need to activate a new line" which I did and they were able to give and apply the code to my account, later confirmed via call that it is underway and should start getting discount within 2 month with retroactively. My bill before was $170 for 5 lines with 2 lines free. Now my bill will be $205-$41(20%) =$164 for 6 line. So technically I got a free line to my account. Which I don't mind 🤷🏽 ♂️ would like to know if anyone got without adding line- won't know for sure until the 20% applied on bill after few weeks tho.

I'm in the same boat as you. I think the biggest benefit would be better priority for data, currently if theres lots of ppl my data slows down noticeably. But I dont think i can justify going from 125 to about $180 per month.
