T-Mobile will offer their famous insider hookup 20% off for life promo to existing customers starting January 6th.

Existing customers who are not on Magenta MAX will need to switch to the MAX plan and can then redeem a code for 20% off all voice lines on the account.

Existing Magenta MAX customers can simply redeem a code once available.

Employees will receive 1 code for new customers (port-in from competitor to new account) and 1 code for existing customers. If you know someone that works for T-Mobile, be sure to ask them for one!

I am an existing Simple choice customer with 4 lines. I have $10 unlimited international calling for the account. Would upgrading to Magenta Max save me any money? I am guessing I will lose the $10 international calling plan when I upgrade. Also when I add a free line (whenever the promo comes), will the 20% discount on the free lines as well? Is that how I see people pay < $100 even for 5+ paid lines?

I think you mean 8 lines, with 3 free (not 5 free). If it was 5 free it would be $170 with Autopay (before insider).

I have 4 paid and 4 free lines on One Plan - with kickback and auto pay discounts on 4 paid lines.

How do I find out what my bill would be with Magenta Max and insider Hookup?

They probably saw posts of accounts with the old insider code that worked differently than this insider code. I thought I was going to pay less than 100 with 4 paid lines, but I didn't. Im still pleased with how it turned out.

So I was chatting with a Tmobile rep from the app, and was told that if I switch to Max, I would lose my free line (I'm on an old SC plan with 1 free line), AND I would lose all my recurring credits from device trade-in promos that I did in the past. Is this true?

Stay on one bud. Most of the perks will not transfer and you will ended up paying lot extra. I got 11 lines including 5 free. I gave up on max.
