T-Mobile will offer their famous insider hookup 20% off for life promo to existing customers starting January 6th.

Existing customers who are not on Magenta MAX will need to switch to the MAX plan and can then redeem a code for 20% off all voice lines on the account.

Existing Magenta MAX customers can simply redeem a code once available.

Employees will receive 1 code for new customers (port-in from competitor to new account) and 1 code for existing customers. If you know someone that works for T-Mobile, be sure to ask them for one!

Can you elaborate on why going from 4 paid and 4 free to 5 paid and 5 free will result in the same monthly price? Does it have to do with Autopay discount?

On my next billing cycle, i will be switching to Max. I have 3 paid and 5 free lines coming over with insider hookup, I am looking at 170-20%= 136. Would I be able to get to 4 paid and 6 free lines for $136 with the bogo promo? When does the BOGO promo end?

When you go to 9 plus lines it's a different plan and how they bill is different. Your free line discounts go from 30 to 40 once you move to 9+ lines. If you did the bogo line promo your new monthly rate after insider would be $128.

Math is this:
$400 9+ plan base rate
$40 additional line
-$40 autopay discount (this is capped at $40)
-$240 for 6 free lines
$160 total before insider
-$32 insider discount
$128 total monthly rate

If you have a Costco nearby, they currently have a BYOD promo where you can submit for a $300 costco discount per line. So if you added both lines st costco, you could get $600 in Costco gift cards.

Wow that's crazy!! So the free lines show up as discounts instead of just being free? How do you know all of this? Are we sure this would work with free lines that originally came from Simple Choice free lines? I am thinking I should wait for when I get switched to MM on my next billing cycle to see how the lines get handled first? Do you know when the BOGO offer ends? Are there any free phone promo that stacks with this BOGO?

I know you are very knowledgeable in this, but i wouldn't mind if someone else can confirm this?

You can take a look at message #372 as an example. But it looks like one of his free line only received $35 credit. Also, if the free line is "Family & friends 2 lines on us" or "This One's on Us (AAL)", it may not get the full credit transferring to MM plan, depending on how it's handled.

Really? When i reached out to TForce, they told me all of my free lines would transfer over. They said my bill would be $170 before insider dsicount. 2 of my lines are Friends & family 2 lines on Us. I would be very upset if it aren't free anymore.

Also, i am mistaken, I have 3 paid lines and 4 free lines. So if I did BOGO lines (4 paid, 5 free), what would it come out to?
