Anyone has any tips on getting an existing user insider code?
I could use one, too. I just stumbled across this thread; it's probably way too late.

I've read they suggest going to a corporate store. What I did was reach out to the sales associate who my hubs and I signed up with. He was so good at his job and so nice that we took his card when we initially inquired, then when we were ready to sign up we tracked him down at his new location, cause we trusted him to do us right. Took his new card. Then when we saw this thread we reached out to him. He gave us an existing customer code. So that's how it worked for me. But not everyone probably has an "Evan" who is the absolute sh*t. nod

Good luck to you- it's not too late and it's worth a try. The worst that can happen is you strike out then you're no worse off.

These insider "deals" kinda suck. Just end up irritating more customers who know about but can't get vs those who do.
Completely agree. Irritates the Tmo employees as well as wasting their time. If Tmo really wants to move customers from grandfathered plans, just give an additional 10% off what they are paying and call it a day.

Signing up with TMobile tomorrow (been with ATT for over 20 years). If anybody has a new customer insider hookup code, that would make my day!

If you can't score a code, check out the perks at work portal if you have it. You can score 15% off plus get your at&t device paid off

If you already set to switch, then good luck & welcome.

If I were you and not yet committed to switch, I'd test drive the TMobile network performance for a few days first, in places you usually use your phone, so not having buyer remorse.

I let a couple of friends (not at the same time) borrowed one of my lines, to test and compare with their own provider.

Let just say, they decided to stay put and not switching.

YMMV… everyone's different.

As far as the code, you should not have difficulty in getting one for new subscriber.

Tell the store manager if necessary that it'd be your deal breaker.

Getting one for current subscribers is impossible.

Thanks guys, really appreciate the advice. I'm here in NW Arkansas, not sure how to go about 'test driving' TMobile network though, sounds like something makes a lot of sense.

Do the two discounts stack, my wife does work for fed govt?

Does TMobile make the person who qualifies for the discount be the account holder? My wife hates this stuff, calliing or going into store, dealing with problems...

Thanks again.

Hey guys a friend told me to come see if there are insider codes since he got one online a few months back? I'm a new customer looking to ditch my cheapie prepay plan on my unlocked iPhone and get into a Magenta Max phone plan as I need to be able to hotspot to my laptop, with the ability to use lots of data working/streaming mobile. Thanks for any help!! Smilie

If you are a new customer, recommend checking reddit as they have a tmobile insider mega thread with codes posted. Although codes in that thread were posted back in January, a few of the codes for new customers are showing available today...guessing some who claimed the codes didn't complete the steps.

The two discounts, work perks 15% (federal employee) and t-mobile insider (20%) don't stack, it is one or the other.

I believe (don't work for t-mobile) that if you want to use your wife's job for the work perks, she has to be the account owner. If you get a new customer code for the insider deal, it is based on the telephone number you identify when you register the insider code.

It's been 2 months so I thought of sharing my experience with this offer.
I am on TMobile one plan now and reached out to a representative about insider coupon to shift to magenta max on TMobile app messenger. They said they didn't have any coupons available but she could manually apply the offer to my account. But I said I needed some time to think about it because I wasn't sure if the offer would stick this way. The representative said that she processed the insider savings addition but didn't make any changes to my rate plan and I could make my change to magenta max when I decided on it.
I never got back to them about the change having given up on the offer.
But to my surprise my next bill came with insider discount on top of kickbacks and a couple of free lines that I had from before.

How my indecisiveness ended up saving me 50 bucks a month 😂

I have this stupid Amplified plan which is cost me around $200 for 7 line that included 20% corporate discount. If I move to Magenta Max I am losing the discount. Is it possible to stuck insider discounts to Amplified plan?

They will not stack. Plus it is almost impossible to get an insider code now unfortunately.

Got this 20% promo back last month through upgrading. Now if I downgrade to Magenta, I still can keep the 20% or not?
