Nope. Your body recognizes these good materials and if you get too much, you 'pass' them. You have good and bad bacteria in your gut...this stuff promotes the good bacteria. I suggest these (probiotics) to anyone who has been taking 'antibiotics' which kills all good and bad bacteria. Do NOT take them together! Physicians prescribe antibiotics...are they hippies? No. They understand the cause of viral infection from bad bacteria. Probiotics rebuild. For anyone with a healthy gut, I suggest 'prebiotic' which your body converts into a LOT of probiotic. Use a search engine to find prebiotic foods for cheap medicine (like apple skins).

Your gut processes materials. You can look at what is processed (poo) to evaluate your diet and gut health. Gross right? Also, during processing (a little after you eat), do you feel icky, too full, or crampy in your tummy? Look online for descriptions of what to watch for...after a while, you will start to associate 'what is good' with what you pass...then it is easy to spot an icky poo from a healthy one. Use a probiotic to boost your health then stop taking it and eat prebiotic foods to maintain the balance in your gut.

I went and added another unrelated item to my cart, and then in the checkout flow switched the delivery option to my Amazon Delivery Day (which was the same day as they offered, just another radio button) This triggered the save 5% on your first subscribe and save offer to pop up, increasing the discount to 85% off. I was wondering too if taking these may screw up my GI system. What are these good for?
Probably very little, but if placebos work for you then you'll swear by them and days when your digestion feels better will be because of the pills and days when it doesn't will be because you didn't take enough in time
