Lots of fake masks going around, having security code doesn't mean much. Would go on the 3M website and make sure they're an authorized distributor.

There's a sub on reddit r/Masks4All with lots of info on what masks work and how to find legit ones.

These sell legit masks:

N95 (3M) - Lowes, HomeDepot, Ace
KN95 - Armbrustusa.com, Bonafidemasks.com
KF94 - Behealthyusa.net, Kollecteusa.com, Everydayemall.com

Spreadsheet with masks tested by Aaron Collin - https://docs.google.com/spreadshe...sp=sharing

So here in LA there is a whole lot of small businesses.
There has to be a few small business owners here that will possibly need to stock these 🙂

Shrug. It's a "good deal" if you like name brands and buzzwords, I guess? People who actually care about reducing their chances of infection (this includes me) are far, far, far better off buying three N100 masks (of if you don't care about fashion, better yet a half-mask with P100s) and rotating between them than putting on a fresh new N95 every day.

(Or if you just want to save money and look normalish, KN95 is fine.)

It's astonishing that we're 2 years into this and people still just believe whatever buzzword-laden crap they hear on the news. The N95 fixation never made any sense whatsoever. I discovered in April of 2020 that there were papers published comparing the efficacies of HEPA, N95 and N100 against the original SARS-CoV-1 virus, and the latter was literally something like 700x more effective than N95.
N100 is better than N95 at filtrating virus? No $hit lol

Kind of amazing that you're promoting n100 masks considering the exhalation port (I don't see one being advertised w/o). The consideration for n95 (w/o the exhalation port) is that it also serves to protect those around you in the event you're infected.

Someone needs to inform literally every hospital immediately that red_vigilante did a Google and they've been doing it wrong.

EXACTLY. Wearing a mask is to protect others from your dumb ass, not you from them.

At least here in LA, all school staff and indoor employees are to wear medical grade masks. These fit the requirements from the County and are NIOSH complaint 🙂

These are behind the head straps. Reviews say straps frequently break, even on first use. Just FYI for those interested.
