Bought this for my 7yo boy, but I spend more time playing it than he does 😂. This was $27 from GameStop before the holidays.

Great game, but Nintendo asking full price for a 10 year old game is unreal.

Grabbed for $30 over the holidays and started it last week. Maybe I'm terrible, but for a Mario game I find it very challenging, and occasionally rage inducing.

That said, I love it and definitely feel that I am getting my money's worth.

Worth a purchase, IMHO.

I love Mario games, but for some odd reason I just couldn't get into this one...

Omg dont even consider playing 2 players since the 2 players play together on the same board. This may or may not break relationships...you have been warned lol

This game is hard, Luigi U is even harder. Well worth the money you paid to get tortured. Hahaha

It's a great game. I only found getting the 3-star coins each stage to be sometimes rage inducing. Some of them were nearly impossible without the aid of the P-Acorn (I believe a star stage comes to mind where you have to keep hitting P-blocks to keep a floor beneath you). There were some star stages where the P-Acorn wouldn't even help due to its design. I was working on the last stage's 3 star coins when my dog sat on my remote and somehow managed to delete my profile. I never played it again lol. Still was a great game though, much prefer the side-scrollers to the Odyssey type games.

Would this be a good game for kids?

My kids (12 and 8) got a switch for Christmas and so far have just been playing mario kart.

Yep. But 2-4 player coop can be painful in some levels especially when you are trying to get all the starcoins (or whatever they are called).

This game is great in co-op mode. But it is one of the more challenging Mario games ever, however there are "easy mode" characters for those who aren't platformer pros.
