It includes an activator which instead of hydrogen peroxide, it produces peracetic acid which sanitizes and cleans better. Regular oxiclean has minimal benefit in short, cold water washes and is not considered a sanitizer. Regular oxiclean is very effective when using hot water and long soak periods for stain removal. As a laundry sanitizer, this is probably much less cost effective compared to Lysol Laundry Sanitizer which uses harsher chemicals (QACs) but Lysol doesn't help with stains. People mentioned up you had to use large quantities to meet the EPA govt requirements for sanitization. So it'd probably a better everyday additive compared with regular oxiclean or Lysol sanitizer but those other products might be better based on your use case.

Maybe I'm misreading but several of the reviews on the front page of Amazon were just issues getting the top open?

It's ~4.5/5 on Amazon overall

Does anyone know how this is different from the original oxiclean? Does it replace the original powder or are you supposed to add both to your laundry?

Be careful using this on a septic system. While peracetic acid decomposes into acetic acid, oxygen, and water, it would likely disrupt your septic bacteria before doing so.

Is anyone getting a subscription address error with this? I've had tons of subscribe and save orders over the years and this is the first time I've received a "There is a problem with your shipping address" error. I tried switching the address to someone else nearby and reading my address but nothing will stick.
