If you're on multiple switches you can get it to work on two switches at once with a single digital purchase, but that's the limit.
i remember reading this game does not have local multiplayer. Is it listed on the bottom of the eShop page as supporting up to 4 players and the description is not clear that they cannot be local. If you bought it from Nintendo they might refund you.
- Can overlap pipes (horizontal pipe going over a vertical pipe)
- Touch screen interface interactions
- Can organize design grid
In Switch:
- Higher resolution
- 16x9 (instead of 4x3) aspect on certain game modes?
- Less intuitive design mode when they revamped it for using controllers
- Top tool bar only shows most recently used items
- Can create sloped surfaces (big request from original)
- Large coins
- Boom boom brothers, Angry sun, other enemies
- On/Off buttons, Snake tracks
- You don't have to gamify to unlock all the tools for creation
- Combined underwater/land worlds
- New Mario theme / physics
