While I mostly agree with your sentiment, there are probably at least some people that will find something here more enjoyable than Genshin Impact. It's OK for different people to have different taste in games.
That said, I don't have any specific recommendations, other than I've tried Genshin Impact, and wasn't a fan. Wink

I'll be honest, given the comments I kind of expected these to all be crap. Many of these are "good old games," which is how GOG started. No stone cold classics but Shadow Warrior is a fun (if tasteless) shooter a la Duke Nukem, Beneath A Steel Sky and Flight of the Amazon Queen are good adventure games, and more.

Several of these free games are quality games - a game does not have to be a AAA game to be worth your time, nor does it need to have been released in the last few years.

The below games are included, were released recently, and are rated quite positively:
Symphonia, Janosik, Samorost, Ascendant, Delores, Cayne, Eschalon, Sang-Froid, Sunrider

Games that are older, but likely well worth a play IF they are the type of game YOU would like to play:
War Wind, Beneath a Steel Sky, Bio Menace, POSTAL, Shadow Warrior Classic, Stargunner, Ultima 4, Ultima Worlds Adventure 2, Worlds of Ultima

Now, keep in mind GOG is not the only source for these games as FREE - Steam also has many of them for the same low, low price.
