Definitely a good deal. They just closed the 2yr birthday promo where Premiere was $22. You can catch these on sale from time to time but the standard price is $80 for Premiere which is a Chromecast Ultra plus a controller. Can't be beat for 20 bucks shipped.
Existing customers are getting the shaft unless you can somehow up your spend. Gotta upgrade to qualify. This is a promo intended to grow ATT's business by upgrading customers or adding new.
That being said, my 1gb fiber package I've had for years was actually more expensive than what it goes for now... So I got my plan bumped down, saving $20/month, and although they couldn't give me the promo, they offered a billing credit to offset the lack of 6mos at $10/mo for free. It's worth asking if you have something to work on while you're on hold.
