I used the mq and dq with no problems. Had her scan the Poise 2/$11 and then immediately scan the mq. Had ip with me just in case mq beeped but it scanned just fine.

Are you sure it didn't start calling after you checked out with a zero balance? There are folks here who have reported their SCO allows this; however, the last time I asked the shift supervisor if she had time for me to test it (about 3 weeks ago), getting a zero balance locked up the SCO. Essentially, it allowed me to check out without calling for assistance, but right after I finished and got my receipt, it called for assistance. It completely locks up the SCO and the only way to clear it is to have an employee turn off the machine and reset it.

I know this happened locally last week, I watched another customer do it while waiting to use an SCO at a different store that I don't go to very often.

Yes, Maybelline is in the ad. The wiki is a work in progress. The thread was started with a lick and a prayer so we could have discussion on the deals. Everyone is invited to add deals or key information to the wiki to help out. I've done a little, but algae put the most time into it so far (that I know of). The only things I see excluded from the Maybelline deal are the cheap single eyeshadows and the cheap lip balms.

I bought a $5.79 makeup remover and a $6.59 eye pencil to get above $12. I used the 4/12, a $2 dq and a $2 ip.

Anyone have trouble scanning their ip?
Last week - At one store the cashier tried scanning the loreal elvive, but it didn't scan. Then I went to my closest store, and the cashier tried scanning it. It didn't scan. Then they looked at the ip closely, push in some numbers, used the scanner one more time and it scanned. I don't know what they did, but that was some cashier magic. The kotex ip scanned easily. Maybe the bottom left barcode for the kotex was shorter than the loreal barcode?

I had this occur last week with the u by k deal. 2/$8 - $4/2 MQ - $4/2dq. No tax on these items in Calif so a true $0 subtotal and final. It went fine. Receipt printed and only then did it start calling for assistance. But transaction was over. I bagged up my stuff and left. No real drama except in my head due to the lights blinking. I imagine it blipped and beeped for a long time until the regular cashier got sick of it and asked for assist.

Another odd thing about this store's SCO is that it always asks me if I have already placed my bag in the bagging area. If I say yes, it says to remove it. Then it takes you back to the start and asks same question. If you say 'no', it calls for assistance. EVERY time at both SCOs at this store. It is almost like the want you in the regular line.

Glad to hear it's not just me this is happening to! I guess, for me, I hear all that commotion and if I walk out without saying something to the cashier, it sounds kind of like I've done something wrong. So the last time it had happened before we had all the discussions here, I pointed out to the cashier that I didn't know what was wrong, I paid and had my receipt. She came over and said it was fine. But I went out to my car, came back in and she was still screwing around with trying to fix it and had to turn it off, wait and then turn it back on. And then I saw it done a couple more times. So now when I want to stay under the radar while using SCO, I try to owe a tiny balance so the machine doesn't start screaming, lock up, etc.

Before the pandemic, the state ruled our bag requirement unconstitutional (or some such). Then with Covid, no store wanted to touch a bag that wasn't brand new, to the point that if you brought your own bags, you had to bag your own items. So our SCOs don't have that kind of craziness.

There are expired Qs for Rimmel. One store I frequent, inexplicably, still has drastically reduced merchandise. This store is usually cleared out by couponers before I get there. But the display isn't tagged so maybe that explains it. When I've scanned the products at the red machine it says something like "not valid UPC."

I used $1/1 on lip gloss that was 1.19 before the Q, reducing it to .19 after the Q. Oddly enough the $2 off any Rimmel eye just didn't come off of the Argan oil mascara that was about 2.49. I tried the $1 off Q on that, too and it just kept saying no product matches this coupon. Go figure. I'd previously bought other reduced Rimmel mascara that was so cheap that I had to buy 2 in order for the $2/1 MQ to apply. These expired on 12/31 but for some reason, they're still working. I actually prefer this brand of makeup and am not at all happy they are getting rid of it.

I tried to use the $4/2 Kotex ip last week and while it did accept the digital Q, it wouldn't take the ip. It wasn't clear if it wouldn't scan or if it felt the amount exceeded the value of the item, odd, since they were 2/$8 last week.

It complains about value exceeded if you scan your card or enter your (phone) number and then scan the item. The DQ is then accepted and it doesn't like the MQ/IP. Instead, scan the item, go on to pay and scan the MQ/IP, and then go back and enter your number. Then the DQ comes off and you're golden.

I didn't have the luxury of SCO. Instead I had a deer in the headlights type of clerk who kept insisting on my handing over my card, but I held onto it until he'd scanned everything, including my coupons. So I can't say what happened.

He just treated the computer like it was God and not to be questioned or any intervention attempted. That was my bad luck. I really didn't feel like paying $2 for the Kotex liners, especially since they're to be donated, but that was what happened. At least I got some cheap marked down Xmas candy.

Would a $3 off any Cosmetics CRT work with this, too? Is the IP still available? I looked thru the c.c ones offered on Swagbucks and only make up ones are Revlon.

So is my best bet to buy two of the nail polishes at 2 for $5, use the $2 off $5 makeup, then use a $3 extra bucks, and then use my Beauty reward on a nail treatment? Can that all be done in one transaction?

Gee, I can't be of much help with the coupons, I'm sure someone else will reply. Is the $2 off $5 makeup a CRT?
Do you have a $3 off Cosmetics left? I have some that have exp date of 1/8 and can still use Monday 1/10, but not sure of what to use on!!
Maybe the Maybelline with a $4 of $12 Maybelline and if I can find the IP I've seen posted about. I think a DQ too from the website. Can't find the IP thats been mentioned.

Glad your daughter is willing to go 'shopping' with you!!!! I'd write down the numbers of colors she likes, for 'future reference" !!! Have fun!
