Wanted to swap out the builder grade Broan 688 motor and cover on a couple fans in a vacation home rather than pull the whole housing, and found the Quickit QK60S - the S seems to stand for Single Unit, since they sell a 4 pack version - was out of stock on Amazon and not available locally at Home Depot. Lowe's lists the model just as QK60, with all of the same specifications and compatibility, and a local store had 2 on Brickseek for 85% off at $7.37. Another store had several for $11.07. I got there and had to search the overstock shelves, but there was indeed a case with 4 left in it. At the very least, this is a decent price for a replacement cover on economy models.
Broan lists the model as QK60S, and also markets a Nutone branded version with the same specs and cross compatibility as QK
N60S. I suspect the Nutone version has a Nutone branding on the cover, but the pictures on Broan-Nutone are generic and omits the logo at all.

Explain? Is it "weak"? What are "good" specs. Thanks.

It is how loud it is. 2.5 is pretty loud. I look for under 1 scones.
The rule of thumb is that you need at least 1 CFM per square foot of room area

Noise levels
For typical bathrooms anything under 80 CFM might not be sufficient. Might work for a powder bath, but it's loud!
In regards to this unit your opinion doesn't matter. This is a RETROFIT UPGRADE kit for select economy units that push less air and make far more noise in their original factory condition, especially now that they've aged.
Anyone looking at this is already in worse shape.
