I got one of these for Christmas. Previously I had a cardboard box in one of my cabinets that had all of my batteries in it. Now I have this thing plus the cardboard box which contains all the batteries that wouldn't fit in this.
I bought one of these about a year ago. I really like it, helps to organize all the slickdeals I get on batteries, lol. Also I had a bad habit of leaving batteries in random drawers so I always had to go hunting for them when I needed them.
If I trafficked in an abundance of C and D sized batteries this case may make sense, but I don't so pass.

Can't imagine buying anything like this where high quality plastic is used. They are designed to be cheap (as in "inexpensive"), bc very few people want to pay $60 for a thing to hold batteries.

Also, if using this in a drawer, I personally would remove the cover anyway, because…why? Toting it around, sure I would be more concerned if the hinges are garbage.

Point being, I think we can assume this is the cheap, brittle plastic we all know and hate, as opposed to some higher end, rugged, overbuilt quality. https://static.slickdealscdn.com/ima...lies/smile.gif
It certainly won't fit in a drawer.

In any case, it is double sided, so it doesn't make sense in drawer.

These are pretty great.

I owned this for a year. It's taken its fair share of hits and has not cracked. Overall this a shockingly useful and well designed product. Highly recommend for anyone who goes through a lot of batteries (ie people with kids).

I found this one for $9. Holds 240 AA/AAA. Doesn't seem to have a cover.

Battery Organizer Storage Box, Organizer and Storage Case Holder for AA, AAA Batteries (Bag Not Include Batteries Pack) https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B0913...SH3KNV3T78

SD would not accept it because it needs tons of reviews (so they can get commission).

3-D printed FIFO AA and AAA battery holders are the way to go. Make sure you always use up old batteries first, works great for rechargeable's

I have a couple and then bin them by country of origin. Japan made for high drain devices, China made for everything else
