That's a 6 core 12 thread CPU that scores about 3x the multi core score of this Chromebook, with a real keyboard.
That would come with 8G of DDR 3200 Ram and a 256G M.2 drive. The problem with Snapdragon processors is they are used to charging a premium in the cellphone market, but they aren't competitive with laptop parts.
This does ok against the Intel CPUs in $300 Chromebooks but isn't exactly a barn burner for the price. (Better than dual core Pentiums.)
It's probably fine for a Chromebook but way overpriced. I wouldn't pay more than $300 for this because the hardware just isn't worth a premium in the laptop/Chromebook space. Since Intel announced just there 12th Gen mobile parts I expect there to be some more interesting offeringssoon. By the time this Snapdragon based system drops in price there will be much better hardware available. It's a shame, if they would offer something that gave you good performance/dollar I would love a decent Arm based laptop.
