Great price for a hub that can do 4k@60hz, just be aware that running at 4k60hz will signifficantly reduce the bandwidth on the other ports, down to usb 2.0 speed. This is not a big deal for me since those ports are primarily used for things like mouse/keyboard dongle, etc. Great info from user Earthwormjim below:

Might just be my specific case, however, these would not work with my switch correctly. It would only allow a max resolution of 480p and even with that, it would drop signal constantly. Sent back 3 of them all with the same issue. The switch works fine with all other docks I've used.

If anyone has a small and compact solution for docking to TV's on the go, I'm in the market.

I don't think they do referrals, as far as I know. Just keep in mind which model you need - the white one works for both regular and OLED Switches, but the black one will only do 480p on OLED switches (should work fine on all regular model ones)

DP 1.4 only needs half of USB-C capacity to achieve 4k@60hz. The other half is still capable of 5gbps USB 3 speed.

I mainly got it for the Ethernet port.
Fiy on a mac (monterey) I had to install drivers for it to work.
Works on MPB M1 max.

I want to use this for a old desktop. It has USB A 3.0. If i get on if those adapter from C to A would it still work? I will be using for sd reader and usb hub mainly. But figure at thia proce point i can try to use it on other devices (tablets
etc )
