Kroger sells same sized private branded coffee for $2 or Walmart does same with its private brand, there's nothing great about this one.
Can't figure out why all these instant things are priced so much higher than real bean, which taste much richer with deep coffee aroma. That being said I only use it to spike my hot cocoa
Try Mt. Hagen from Germany. Freeze dried is preferred.
Many stores use it as a generic and you can get it for close to $4 a jar.
HEB in particular does this for their "central market" brand.
