I think there is no logic to trade in recent new phones as S22 will be release on Feb 6 and Samsung generally have a good offers on new phones including goodies.

agreed. this phone is not much of an upgrade from the s20 FE. Plus the s21 FE, based off the S21's released 11 months ago, is about 4 months too late. The S22's will likely be out next month with better hardware and probably some ridiculous deals from most sellers including Samsung.

Looking forward for Samsung to make this a free phone under carrier contract. It may happen with the S22 release in couple of weeks.

Just did one for Best Buy exclusive Navy color S21FE, traded in iPhone SE (2nd) for $340, and got the $200 Best Buy gift card. For a total payment of $360 ($699-$340) plus tax.
