Normally rsim needs to update iccid frequently, somehow my rsim can unlock iPhone without needing to reprogram iccid in last 4 month, it just unlocks without problem. I've unlocked recent TMobile iPhones, Verizon iPhones, total wireless SE and XR etc
The RSIM I'm using is not the one you need have to keep in the tray with the carrier sim. Once you have it activated with this RSIM, you take it and put in your carrier sim and you're good until you factory reset the iPhone. I have 2 iPhones used by family members on T-Mobile using this type of RSIM to initially unlock and they have been working without any ICCID reprogramming (the ICCID is from the T-mobile sim itself). They've gone many ios updates and are currently at the latest 15.x. So i don't know what you're talking about unless you're using an RSIM (the thin one on which the carrier sim lies on top of) that always has to be in the tray with the carrier sim. Maybe that one needs to periodically be reprogrammed with an updated ICCID.

There are different RSIMs. The one I use can be used multiple times (until Apple figures it out and prevents it) since it doesn't have to be resident in tray with the carrier sim.

Edit: yes you are correct, if I plan to use this RSIM in 5 months to unlock another iPhone, I will need to update the ICCID (and likely IMSI) on it to pass activation. By then this RSIM may not work because Apple probably blocks activation from it. I don't care by then, it unlocked my XR for now which is all I care and I know there's no guarantee the RSIM is going to work in 5 months to unlock another phone. But my XR will continue to work on T-Mobile as long as I don't do a factory reset

Just ordered my second one. First one came in great shape. I will use both for the next Best Buy trade in offer for a new phone. Hopefully a good deal comes out for the new Samsung S22.
Ordered my second one as well for trade in. Traded first one in for an s21, $107 out the door for a new s21, pretty sweet deal.

In for one. Just wondering if I should immediately do the bestbuy trade for an s21 since I'm on tmobile or wait for a possible mother's day deal at tmobile like last year for an iPhone 13. Either way, XR holds surprisingly good value for its age

Not listed at the manufactures site and I would trust them since the mfg. https://www.oneplus.com/8/specs?from=8
That info shows generic features that apply to all the versions of the phone. They're not going to put something that only applies to certain specific versions of it.

"The OnePlus 8 will remain without official resistance for most regions, but carrier models in the United States have it."

Below are links to a couple of the U.S.-specific models and it shows IP68 rating

Doing the same and no dice. Not worth the headache, tried chat support and they were not helpful. Nice but not helpful.

As long as it turns on and not cracked, easy $190 store credit. Did it yesterday toward a sn850 with heatsink

Looking to buy this XR as my first iphone to see if I'll like the iOS. Worth it? Or all the devices comes with after market parts?
it is worth it. There are two guys rambling on about the screens. The majority of peope, myself included got perfect phones. They are just bitter.

Did you have to insert the SIM card and do the activation first?
