I purchased it online on December deals and the phone touch screen stopped working after 2days of mild usage.. still struggling to get a replacement from apple. So far sent the item two times to apple but in both of the occasions they returned it without any fixes saying they can't replicate the issue.

Don't know how to escalate this issue to straighten out those stupid apple technicians whose asses are not working right. This is the first time I had interaction with apple support in past decade and not a pleasant one definitely.

I have not unfortunately so I can't directly answer your question.

I did however just order an xr and noticed the PayPal payment option is back and there is free returns through PayPal.

I was also able to use the 25% coupon on the xr.

I'm wondering though, if rak (15?) or tcb (12%) is the better option for cb. Rak may be 4% or the $15, while tcb sometimes doesn't track. 😳🤔
TCB only gave 10%, even though they say 12%. Rak no idea if you will get the 15..

Do you have an Apple Store or an authorized repair center nearby? You can demonstrate the touch issue and there's usually same day turnaround for screen replacements.

Or physical visits work the best as you said. Went twice and on 3rd time they replaced my 1 year old phone.

You might be getting 1099 from paypal for these with the new tax laws.
Need to pay tax on these unless you prove you bought them for higher price
Someone mentioned it earlier. I have plenty of XR receipts for more than $192 cost. That said, I'm done receiving payments with Paypal for 2022. They also offer MC virtual cards.

I was wondering if amount is taxed only if more than 600 in one transaction. how about if you got multiple small transactions and that tops of 600 during a year. Will that be taxed?

Don't think so. I thought about asking if they would not activate the phone (should be reseller flex policy and lock to first provider SIM installed) and then just call T-Mobile to cancel the account, but that's also a credit pull.
I had that $20 tmobile talk/text only line but canceled so if I re-activate it there should be no credit pull correct?

$600 total per year. This is their way of making the billionaires pay... Tax the rich. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

But we are screwed as middle class as well. Suppose some one has a small business and getting some payment on ebay.

Technically, they were supposed to report all of it already. This just enforces it by reporting for them. It's a bit ridiculous to drop from $20000 to $600, but hey look who's in charge.

Why don't you just return the phone to TW and ask for a replacement?

$600 total as others have mentioned, but keep in mind they're not going to actually take taxes out. They'll just send you a 1099 and you'll then need to report that income on your taxes (hopefully along with whatever your cost basis for the items was so that you're only taxed on the difference, not the whole amount.
