Received my latest XR from TW, today from UPS 1/26 ordered 1/22. Condition is perfect, tried the screen and works fine, gaps seem fine, no scratches, it's mint! only thing to note, this one did not include the charging brick I guess they ran out of them?

out of 6 I've received, 1 had a tiny nick in the paint (chipped off at the edge) between glass and aluminum frame, 1 had leftover glue residue on edges and on the upper speaker grill, I was able to clean off and used a toothpick to get whatever was on the speaker mesh.

but all worked/charged up fine, condition more or less flawless.

I guess I've been lucky but YMMV, good luck to all still trying to get phones this is still a great deal! I didn't bother with the api workaround and risk a cancellation, 15% via USI15 was good enough for my latest phone.
I ordered mine the 22nd as well. My order is stuck with a status of ORDER PROCESSING. I called this evening and spoke with a reasonably pleasant rep. that could only offer me the opportunity to order a second phone! What? Why would I double my jeopardy? I have decided the TW could mean things other than Total Wireless. So I guess I'll hang for another couple days because I actually want the deal.

Did you use a generated 25% off code? I'm trying to determine if maybe that's why orders are stuck.

Yes I did. The code processed in the transaction and the charges have hit my CC.

They oversold their inventory. It's simple.

There was at least one guy who got his order shipped who ordered after me and he used a 15% off coupon instead of the 25%. So likely yeah they are oversold as you said. But I wouldn't rule out them cracking down on coupon abuse. They killed the code generating loophole so they are aware.

You could look through the source code of a cached page when the 25% off popup was still working. There's an API string that grabs a code from a third party company. All you had to do was copy/paste that string into your browser address bar and change a few random digits to generate a new code.

This was discovered Saturday afternoon. I imagine they were flooded with orders and found out people were still able to use codes. Could probably be them lurking on SD and reading comments about it because that loophole is now dead.

Interesting discussion. My code came in an email when I signed up. I signed up with 1 email, I got 1 code. I ordered 1 phone on 1/22. I would be pissed if TW didn't send me my phone because folks spamming orders using random codes.

TW learned from Apple and stopped sending out charging brick.
Didn't notice till someone pointed it out,

The lightning cable I received in lieu of the missing power brick is actually the newer type C cable!

well, well, I'll take a lightning to type c cable over a lightning to type A and "slow" power brick any day lol.

You bought up a good point.

Anyone got their order actually shipped using those unofficially generated codes?

Yeah people are smart! this reminds me of the workaround people found on amd.com to enable the "add to cart" button when gpu drops were happening.

There was a script people were using to edit the code to give them the add to cart buttons so they could get Graphics cards!

did anyone receive phones after 22nd like I did? if not then they over sold like people said. I paid for all my orders with paypal so, not sure if payments being flagged or challenged is part of the issue?

When I got the shipping notification, I clicked on the 'activate' button in the email. Is this all that is needed to start the 60-day countdown clock, or do I have to actually turn on the phone and make a call?
