I got one with a light blue sticker and two with a purple sticker. All look like new, but I'm pretty sure that the light blue one is the only one with an original screen and battery. The two purple stickers are ever so slightly thicker looking (we're talking only a fraction of a millimeter though). It's only noticeable looking directly at the bezel right next to each other. Also, I charged them all up and let them sit and have realized that the one with the light blue sticker lasts much longer (all sitting idle, not in use). The two with purple sticker will last for maybe 3 or 4 days between needing a charge while the light blue one lasts more like a week. Kind of what I'd expect from an OEM versus cheaper aftermarket battery.
I have 4 dark blue
I never thought much of these stickers

All 4 have the plastic film like that is usually used in aftermarket screens
all with 100% battery as well.

Any chance you know what the color of stickers were on your boxes? Did the one with an aftermarket screen have a purple sticker, by chance?
I just checked 3 boxes I still have the phones with me.

Box 1: light blue. it seems screen is oem as i compared to real xr bought from apple. battery 100%, but i suspect battery is replaced.
Box 2: dark blue. replaced screen and battery. confirmed by apple and phone is reset by apple, now shows battery msg, face id not working, true tone not working.
Box 3: no sticker. it seems screen is being replaced. screen has tinted color. i also think battery is replaced.

Dear Diary,

It's now 19 days since I placed my order. TW still has my $131.xx hostage and have not sent out a phone while likely racking up $0.0332 in interests during that time.

Love,

Thanks for the update. Not sure if the sticker thing means anything, but still curious. Also, have you tried to clear your screen / battery error messages lately? I thought I saw somewhere that they would drop into the background after a few weeks or something.

Not sure if the color of the dots theory holds water, cause I just looked at the 4 boxes that I have on hand and they are all dark blue, including the one with the DIM screen.

I have a XR Coral that I bought New in box from Simple Mobile and compared it side by side to my 3 "Good" XRs, the quality of the screens look near identical.

Other than the 1 DIM one I received, that one was obviously replaced along with the excess glue on the sides.

Out of 7 phones 4 were near flawless, 1 had a nick between the screen and body, 1 had excess adhesive around the body and on the speaker mesh, but good screen, and the last one was the worse lots of excess glue and dim screen.

So of the 3 I have on hand, compared to my new SM Coral XR the weights are:
206g Coral XR (simple mobile) new box, glass protector
205g XR from TW, glass protector
196g XR from TW, no glass protector, including protection film
196g XR from TW, no glass protector, including protection film

Mine are all similar in weight, don't feel like removing the glass protector to get the "bare" weight, but all my "Keepers" have the same near identical quality screen. Too bad I already traded in that DIM screen one, which would have been nice to know if the weight is significantly different.

I gave away 2 and traded in 2, I'm left with 3 that I activated and waiting to unlock.
Hi any news on the unlock? All the best bro

Just traded in to Gamestop for a $235 Visa card (they had cards that go up to $500). Phobio sent it back with scratches on the screen and not unlocked, but I was able to polish them out a bit before taking to GameStop. Luckily they didn't mess with any serial numbers so it worked normally. GS accepted as Verizon and gave me the gift card, which I immediately loaded to my Amazon Gift Balance in the parking lot. Crisis averted, and now I'm wishing I traded more in there for the extra amount. I'm surprised the value actually went up over the weekend.
Do I need a create a reservation for trade in? Any thing other than phone should I carry?

Bring:

1) Phone charged and have it set up to where they can go into the general settings.
2) Bring your ID (if your state requires an ID on trade-ins)
3) A working fingerprint

I brought scorched earth on TW. Filed for dispute on both phones that I was charged for and have not shipped since 1/22.

No SIM. Tell them Verizon when they ask carrier. Should be a quick $235 Visa GC.

I bought the same sim. I entered the codes as instructed on their website but unable to unlock. Were you able to figure it out?
Unfortunately no. Ended up trading it into Gamestop for $160 cash. Big oof since it looks like since then the trade in value has gone up, and I could have gotten $220 visa prepaid gift card. Looks like I failed all around.
