Samyang's new 24-70mm F2.8 AF (Sony E Mount) lens is available through their site for $999.99 with a 10% discount code "OFF10" (noted on site's top banner).
Sale also did not include sales tax for me so it was $899.10 with free shipping.
Went with this lens over the Sigma due to not wanting to gamble with the dust issue.
This is a Pre-order, will ship when available. There are very few reviews but this one is quite in-depth:

I used to shoot the Tamron 28-75 which is much sharper than the 28-200, but I appreciate the extended range and versatility.
Focusing and Sharpness is decent for an all in one but isn't as good as primes in general or even the tamron 70-180 or 35-150, though both are significantly more expensive.

Interesting thank you for the insight. I'm not great at these things so all the insight from you all is very helpful to me.
Thanks for the response. I'll keep this in mind but now I'm starting to look at the 35-150mm. I am one of those people who would rather buy it once then have to buy another one if they don't like it.

The 35-150 seems good but it's a heavy big boy, I even joked with the salesman that he must have handed me a Sigma by accident. I've owned enough cameras and lenses to know that if I have something like the 28-200 I'll probably grab the camera but if I have something like the 35-150 I probably won't. Also I have traveled enough to know that when I go to other countries or resorts etc once that lens gets to be a certain size the "are you paparazzi" questions start if they are nice or the downright nasty treatment starts if they aren't. Hopefully the 28-200 will fly under the radar.

I own the Tamron 28-200 lens and it's a nice versatile lens. Lightweight and well balanced in the hands. I can extend the reach to 300 mm by using the crop shooting mode on the A7RIV and still have 26MP. The Tamron is a bargain when the price drop less than $700.
