Zavvi is completely legit. Anyone who says otherwise doesn't know what they're talking about and spreading fud. They've been around for ages. Used to use them for steelbooks of blurays. I've bought a number of Legos, they are EU based so no piece counts on the box.

I thought the same during a deal a month ago, and there was a comment that I now think someone else said it best. When it goes well, it goes well. If there is an issue, it is a disaster seeking a resolution. Case in point:

I ordered the Story of Nian deal on here a couple months ago. 4 sets. They got delayed so missed xmas presents for the kids, but whatever, they are timeless, I'll give next year.

Finally package arrives - It Is two Pokemon Replica Throwballs!
  • I email Zavii, they offer me a $5 Credit for the issue (LOL - as if this makes getting throwballs instead of the LEGOs ok)
  • I explain it is unacceptable, we go back and forth, they tell me they will get me an update within 5 days as to when they will have more and get me a replacement....
  • 10 days later I follow up - I get a response that they sent me my package back in December.
  • We are now starting over
I have done three purchases previously with no issues. This is sad because I will likely have to dispute this on my credit card, and then not be able to buy from them in the future.

Exactly this. I've ordered a good many times from them. First of all, they are definitely a legit reseller if anyone still has questions. Good prices. Speaking from my own experiences, 70% of the time it's perfect no issues. 25% of the time the packaging was less than ideal. Then 5% of the time it's a disaster.

Last year I bought 6 large Lego sets from them, all good, no issues. However, since they stopped using DHL and started to use FedEx, things have gone downhill, they lost two packages, though they refunded me, I stopped buying from them.

Idk why I keep getting downvotes for saying the truth about zavvi. Their delivery/tracking along with their customer service is horrid, they don't sell fake legos they just suck at shipping them and if you have any issues almost all their "customer support" is just you sending an email and somebody eventually reads it and sends you back some copy paste response. My Lamborghini Sian took over 3 months to arrive, my creator Porsche took around 2 weeks, my technic Porsche was literally the only one that had tracking and showed up in a week.
