This isn't a killer price deal. I have been watching these for some time. However, the large majority of retailers now have had their stock disappear, with other retailers significantly increasing the price of available stock. Thought I'd share in case someone else was waiting to pull the trigger.

If you have it available at a store nearby, maybe it'll fit in the 15% off brown bag.

These are great for people that want to get every inch if possible height out of their garage such as those with vehicle lifts.

With all the home break ins going on in SF through the garage by drilling a hole through the middle top of the door and pulling the quick release, this sounds like a good solution. Especially with the auto door lock. Thanks for posting.

I have the auto dead bolt on my current garage door that is belt driven and it's great! Hope it works well for you too

We are renovating a house and the garage has vaulted ceiling except for the garage door mount. This opener will let us drywall the vault and have a nice clean ceiling, with more head space

Just make sure your torsion bar shaft is 1" or you will be making an adapter sleeve and also that your drums are not reverse wound.

I have also been looking at this type to forecast an insulated roll up door. Not certain how the inner torsion spring is wound, I think I will opt for the manufacture's supplied operator that similar in price and commercial usage rated, is absent some of the perks. But, I know it fits and works.

Good tips! Thanks! Fortunately my garage door fits the requirements
