"The most magical thing just happened guys. Today I woke up to a "No SIM Restriction" on a Verizon iPhone 13. So they do definitely unlock it automatically on the 60th day. I still have the Verizon line but it's in a "voluntary suspended )$10 a month)" status because I wanted to make sure it would unlock and I still had a line (I don't think keeping a line is necessary btw, I was just being extra cautious). All good. Everything turned out ok to my surprise!"
SIM options
Tracfone: ATT, T-Mo, Verizon
Total Wireless: Verizon
Simple Mobile: T-Mobile
Net10: ATT(now removed), T-Mo, Verizon
Pageplus: Verizon
Walmart Family Mobile: T-Mo
Straight Talk: ATT, T-Mo, Verizon
I've been doing this a while and know the ins and outs of TFW. Verizon may or may not force all brands to their network at some point. They also may consolidate the brands, but that's the rundown.

Also note that for next year's upgrade (if you plan on holding these phones through September), the X-series will likely drop off the list for getting full credit. Last year, you could trade in an iPhone 8 for an iPhone 12. This year, the oldest was the X-series. Next year it will likely be 11. The XR would fetch you $400 vs $800 for the 11. It might end up being worth it then.
Personally, I suspect there are too many 4G iphones floating around. We will continue to see iPhone XR, SE, and 11 deals over the next few months as folks are enticed to upgrade to 5G phones.
What happens with the TW unlock while the phone is rsim unlocked? will it get bugged? Could you factory reset the phone thereby removing rsim unlock, and then the TW unlock would kick in?
Just use the sim from the plan that comes with the phone.

How does this all work?
Assuming visible (owned by VW) is also using same policy. Do visible phones Auto Unlock after 60 days with just one month of paid active service? I thought visible needed a minimum of 2 months of paid active service for Auto Unlock.
After you unlock the divorce then you can simply buy a plan from another carrier, VW if you wish 🙂
Thinking it cant since that xr TW sim was tied to that particular xr.
