"The most magical thing just happened guys. Today I woke up to a "No SIM Restriction" on a Verizon iPhone 13. So they do definitely unlock it automatically on the 60th day. I still have the Verizon line but it's in a "voluntary suspended )$10 a month)" status because I wanted to make sure it would unlock and I still had a line (I don't think keeping a line is necessary btw, I was just being extra cautious). All good. Everything turned out ok to my surprise!"

My son has Tracfone and a Pixel 2 that I gave him as a hand-me-down. He just got a refurb iPhone 11 from Gazelle that he was going to pop the SimCard into.
Can he just do this instead? Get this device, activate for the 30 days and then wait 60 days for the unlock all the while continuing to use the Pixel 2? Then once the 60 days are over, just swap out the SIM from the Pixel 2? I'm sure he'd prefer to get a new one as opposed to a "Fair" one he got from Gazelle for 100 bucks more.
And you know why?
Kids use these phones for game playing (eg Roblox), and I know cause I have a 13 yr old brother 🙄
A phone from gazelle has a 90% chance of having a less than optimized battery. And kids need a good battery to play them darn games all day 😬

Checking if I can combine the plan codes on one TW phone in case I have to return one of the phones.
The sim stays in their system as a "pair" BUT:
They are NOT glued together.
The above means you can insert ANY sim within the TFW Family of brands (Net10, TFW, Other TW Sims)
AND GUESS WHAT?!
When I call the TFW Cust Serv they try to drill me and ask me for the OG Sim of the phone🤣🤣
I shut em up😒😒 cause I'm the customer, my money my way.
I tell them just focus on the problem at hand (eg minutes not working, internet not working, etc).
Or I simply tell them I lost it. OR I couldn't find it 🤷 ♀️
