"The most magical thing just happened guys. Today I woke up to a "No SIM Restriction" on a Verizon iPhone 13. So they do definitely unlock it automatically on the 60th day. I still have the Verizon line but it's in a "voluntary suspended )$10 a month)" status because I wanted to make sure it would unlock and I still had a line (I don't think keeping a line is necessary btw, I was just being extra cautious). All good. Everything turned out ok to my surprise!"
SIM options
Tracfone: ATT, T-Mo, Verizon
Total Wireless: Verizon
Simple Mobile: T-Mobile
Net10: ATT(now removed), T-Mo, Verizon
Pageplus: Verizon
Walmart Family Mobile: T-Mo
Straight Talk: ATT, T-Mo, Verizon
I've been doing this a while and know the ins and outs of TFW. Verizon may or may not force all brands to their network at some point. They also may consolidate the brands, but that's the rundown.

XR for $125 is the most bang for the buck! I have been enjoying my XR for few days.
Got my XR today and it looks great. Was worried since it was originally activated on Jan 1, 2021 and warranty expired on Jan 1, 2022 :-( . Was about to refuse shipment. However, curiosity got the better of me :-)
That above said, the phone looks clean without any visible imperfections. Checked Truetone and Face ID are working as expected.
I am charging at this time and plan to make the IoS update tonight along with activating the SIM card(on TotalWireless.com site).
Will check more, however, it looks a like a good buy. Dont plan to dig too deep though!
Thanks a bunch, OP and everyone on this thread.
I can't spend another 250 on iPhone 11 this month. So just wondering. I know TW will not take back XR so I don't have any option except to keep it and use it.
Hasn't been 2 months yet & no one really knows what they plan to do, the buying of TF companies specified they would continue providing service for users, not that they would still sell discounted phones.
(Look at how they do Visible's phone deals for example).
$200 brand new XR
The brand new SE2 was $130
Will edit

Nonetheless I did advise on deals being available often.
We just have to check SD or put an "alert" for it 🙂

AS OPPOSED TO:
using the sim that it gets shipped with.
Ppl don't know that the sim the iPhone (when brand new) comes with is a separate, CC szd card.
I recommend just using the sim the TW sim iPhone comes with. After the 60 day unlocking process you can then use any other sim

Im advising to use the OG sim from TW for an easier unlocking process.
You can definitely move the Sims back and forth, but if you just wait for the iPhone to unlock then any sim will do.
Most older Sims don't qualify for the 60 day unlocking policy. So just to be safe we recommend just using the OG sim😬
The issue your describing is TracFone wants a virgin IMEI during activation that has never been activated before. I have unlocked and Verizon phones that were never TracFone phones, I have activatd them once on TracFone, but if I ever try to activate them again with a new sim on TracFone, it doesn't work. I've had that issue for years with any phone that has been activated on TracFone more than once. I've had to call support every time to get one of those phones to reactivate.
