For anyone that want to use another carrier beside TotalWireless / Tracfone: I used this unlocking sim card (super easy - just another sim card you pop in first and then remove it) to software unlock it and then put my Tmobile sim card and it worked. Also tried ATT / Verizon / MetroPCs and few other carriers which worked as well. I can explain more if you want details.
Which seller did you use for sim, (assumed white sim?)

Got the brand new sealed with the Sim card package taped to the sealed packaging. Slipped my visible Sim card in first. No good. Slipped my black rsim card in and didn't have to enter iccid code. 2 seconds later put the visible card and perfect. Went on visible to check if rsim works for e Sim and that failed. (rsim doesn't t unlock esim) hope this answered the dozens of questions. (And yes one day I may or may not use the included tw plan and pay a second month to have it truly unlocked as I will cross that path when it comes or decide to trade it in)

My take on the 60 days. I think it matters if the phone account/number expires with Total Wireless before you reach the 60th day. Obviously, the account is active the first 30 days, once the account is inactive and is deactivated, the phone will not unlock. The 60 day wait period is specifically made as a period to verify suspicious activity. If the phone isn't even being used on the 2nd half of the period(or on another network or other SIM card) then Verizon will just automatically unlock since they deem you haven't done anything devious.

Now, I'm not sure if the phone actually has to have Wi-Fi connection to your home internet or the verizon network just so they can connect to the phone to process the unlock.

Isn't Straight Talk and Total Wireless logo both there?

Anyone have any unique insight or instructions on how they managed to get their Total Wireless IOS device to be unlocked via the White RSIM?

I've been dealing with trying to unlock 2 of my devices/recent purchases to be used on Boost and Mint Mobile (both T-MOBILE MVNOs), but every time the activation fails and rejects my SIM cards after following the procedure the EBay seller provides? I even tried putting the RSIM cards in an unlocked iPhone, update the ICCID/IMSI settings from there to then pop in to the TW IOS device but that does nothing and still fails

I WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE ANY HELP, TYSM!!

Thanks for the reply, i think my question is how to know if its a verizon sim without opening the box? As it does not Mention sim number anywhere

The phone comes with a Total Wireless / Straight Talk SIM card attached to the outside of the iPhone 11 box. Total Wireless uses the Verizon network but it's not a Verizon SIM card.
