are you expecting someone who has activated precisely on 11/23/2021 to come forward at the earliest hours of the 61 day to slickdeals forums of all places to share their experience whether their phone was unlocked without paying for the second month? Give it an extra week until we get confirmed reports.

Actually I'm surprised no one posted their unlock status the minute that the clock struck 60 days. After all, this is SD, where OCD deal hunters calculate toilet paper cost down to the thousandths of a cent per sheet, or tech nerds write code for coupon generators. LOL.

Yes lol. Like the other comment said, I was surprised no one mentioned anything yet. The earliest unlock day was mentioned earlier in the thread a couple times, but not when it actually happened lol

Thanks for the steps this worked perfectly. I used developer mode in chrome to get the API and generated the code easily.
Can you pls share the api details?

That's part of the problem, since Simple Mobile uses T-Mobile the unlocking policy on their site doesn't even make sense (it's just a copy & paste from TW & TF). According to that no Simple user can ever unlock their phones since they don't use VZ - makes me wonder what else they've messed up (or forgot to add). It's all in the details.
Like maybe the line has to be active for 60 days? Where's the popcorn?

I bought this deal on 1/18. My phone ran out of data so I spoke to a Total wireless rep so buy a data add on. While I was on the phone I asked about when the phone would be unlocked.

She said 12 months. I asked about 60 days and she said "our policy is 12 months with active service". I pointed out the discrepancy with Verizon and she said "I'm sorry sir but our policy is 12 months with active service."

Anxiously awaiting feedback from those that bought this deal a couple months ago.

I spoke to the team and they did tell me system shows unlock in 60 days and told me a date which is 60 days from my activation date.. but they did insist on active service for 60 days . As noted we would be getting some inputs soon in the next view days with the actual policy kicking in effective today

For anyone looking for the unlock status, what is it showing when you check the verify eligibility?

Device Unlocking Eligibility Result

We apologize. Your device is not eligible for our Unlocking program.

These are the main criteria used to determine your device's eligibility for the Unlocking Program.

Device must be a TracFone-branded phone. Unlocking does not apply for "Bring-Your-Own-Phone" devices.
Device must have not been reported as stolen, lost, or associated with fraudulent activity.

Device may have already been unlocked or device may have a pending unlock request (customer should call for resolution).
Device must have been activated on TracFone service for no fewer than 12 months.

Device must have redeemed no fewer than 12 months of service.
Device must have active service or be within 60 days after service expired.
For customers from Straight Talk, SIMPLE Mobile, Total Wireless, NET 10, TracFone or Telcel:
Handset model must have been launched to the market after 02/11/2014 OR activated on TracFone service after 2/11/2015.

I activated a brand new XR from total wireless a month ago. it came with $25 preloaded sim.

I found a scratch off with $25 from previous deals and loaded it up yesterday in order to have 60 days of active service. Hopefully it goes through

Looks like someone at HoFo with a new (non-refurb) Motorola Optimo Maxx got a 60 days unlock, so there is "auto unlock" as advertised.

As oregon14 said we'll need a week or so more for more data points to come in (especially the refurb cases like the XR) but it's a good sign nevertheless.

That's both hilarious and horrible. Unlock is not even possible because their policy doesn't make sense lol.
