"The most magical thing just happened guys. Today I woke up to a "No SIM Restriction" on a Verizon iPhone 13. So they do definitely unlock it automatically on the 60th day. I still have the Verizon line but it's in a "voluntary suspended )$10 a month)" status because I wanted to make sure it would unlock and I still had a line (I don't think keeping a line is necessary btw, I was just being extra cautious). All good. Everything turned out ok to my surprise!"

I just activated my phone on TW. Activation took 5 mins and I received text message on updated unlock policy.
The link clearly says Apple devices activated on Tracfone services will get unlocked automatically in 60 days, which is very good.
At least now I feel assured that with 60 days (worst case active service), the device would get activated and can ignore the conflicting locking policy comments.
Just wondering if they can deem it as fraudulent activity and deny unlock after 60 days?
Had it activated the 17th.. still have some time to purchase credits if needed.
Since this is a new iphone, Can i insert my att/tmo sim card to activate it and make it lock to att/tmo?

Do I outright own the phone? The reason why I'm asking is because I want to trade it in for the best buy iPhone 13 deal.
Or do I have any other type of obligation to TW to keep the phone for a certain amount of time or keep the $25 plan active for a certain amount of time?
PS: I haven't even activated the phone yet, I assume it would be best to activate it with TW before trading it in to Best Buy?
