Can anyone please confirm whether the iPhones from 11/23 got unlocked after 60 days. Question - do we need 60 days continuous service?

Yeah I don't know what you are talking about 😑 because:

You can clearly see a drop down menu, before checkout, to choose the carrier on eBay:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/283448464240?var=584486806383 [ebay.com]

Idk why ppl would buy an ATT sim for a VW iPhone. That's why I never mentioned ATT since my post is for a VZ iPhone.

Sorry about that 😬
Because for Flex policy iPhone they want to unlock with ATT, Best Buy iPhone and WalMart iPhone are Flex policy, but TW iPhone is carrier lock policy, they mess up.

Let's assume that TW auto unlock requires 60 days of service and that I pay for TW service covering days 1-30 but not for days 31-60.

On day 61, assume that the iP11 doesn't auto unlock. At that point, do I need to buy 1 or 2 additional months of TW service to have the iP11 unlocked?

WARNING - if you buy the phone don't transfer your number to them.
I did mine & they refuse to port it out to another provider. They gave me wrong acct # & pin to transfer out. I have lost my number. I have spent 3hrs each day talking to several different reps for the 3 days.

WARNING : Total Wireless are known to hijack your number.

has anyone here activated the 30 days that came preloaded on the sim and are just waiting out the 60 days without planning on adding days and see if the unlock goes thru.

I activated the device using the SIM card which it came with. Do I have to keep the sim in the same iPhone 11 for it to get unlocked? Or can I use the sim in my pixel? I m wondering because Cricket had some restrictions like unlocking iPhone works only if the sim is left in same iPhone. Any thoughts ?

Don't transfer the SIM it came with to another phone if you want the phone to unlock. Supposedly it can mess up the account association and it won't unlock.

According to the site below, the account number should be the MEID number of your phone. Also, it says to use 0000 as the PIN, but I believe someone said they changed that and you need to use a PIN. But I think you can set your own under your profile info on the TW website.

Could some please help - i am not a TF or TW user and somewhat confused by all the interchange so if someone knowledgeable could clarify the following would really appreciate it. I bought a 2 TW IPXR and iP11

1. The howardforums links seem to be for TF phones and unlock policy. Are we sure the same will apply to these TW phones?
2: I read here that folks used TF sims on these TW phone and then unlocked using TF 90 day plan. So did u never activate the TW sim? What about refurbished phones that came with Sim installed?
3. My plan if 60 days required is activate phone 1 with referral code. Day 40 activate 2nd phone and get 7000 point bonus for new line. Day 80 activate 3rd phone and activate 7000 points. On day 31 refill for first phone. On day 61 get referral bonus for phone 1 and not renew service. On day 70 use referral bonus to pay 2nd month for 2nd phone. Day 100 let phone 2 expire. Receive the 7000 points from adding phone 2. On day 110 use new line points for second month on phone 3. Sorry complicated but with those familiar with TW will this work? Someone mentioned rewards need 61 day of service - so will i have to add the 3rd month of service to get reward points?
3. Are 7000 points equal to $70 so i can use it for 2 months of $25?

TW looks like a lot of hoops to get unlocked - what is the cheapest option to get it unlocked if possible using TF.

Thanks for all the help - really clueless about TF and TW

1. They are part of the same family. If you look at the unlock policy site, you will see the logo for all of them on the top for a reason.
2. The TW sim needs to be activated as a TF line. You can do this on your account on TF. This iPhone only unlocks WITH the sim it comes with. This is what I was told by the support. If you use any other TF sim, it will not unlock later and possibly even complicate things. Even if it's a TW sim, it can be activated as a TF sim and then this sim should be used for the 60 day service.
3. 61 days of service for every line. Not just one. You won't get the 7k to use until all the lines that have referenced each other pass the 60 day mark.
4. You can get 3 months of service with around 4.5k pts. With 12k, you can get a year of free service. With 20k, you can get pretty big discounts on phone purchases. This is all of the top of my memory so some parts might be inaccurate.

Both TF and TW had way worse unlocking methods before (12 month). Now, you just need 2 month of active service for iPhones and 2 month of paid service for Android. Of course that is assuming everything goes correctly.
