"The most magical thing just happened guys. Today I woke up to a "No SIM Restriction" on a Verizon iPhone 13. So they do definitely unlock it automatically on the 60th day. I still have the Verizon line but it's in a "voluntary suspended )$10 a month)" status because I wanted to make sure it would unlock and I still had a line (I don't think keeping a line is necessary btw, I was just being extra cautious). All good. Everything turned out ok to my surprise!"
SIM options
Tracfone: ATT, T-Mo, Verizon
Total Wireless: Verizon
Simple Mobile: T-Mobile
Net10: ATT(now removed), T-Mo, Verizon
Pageplus: Verizon
Walmart Family Mobile: T-Mo
Straight Talk: ATT, T-Mo, Verizon
I've been doing this a while and know the ins and outs of TFW. Verizon may or may not force all brands to their network at some point. They also may consolidate the brands, but that's the rundown.

Any flaws with this plan? This is to avoid the possibility of needing to have a THIRD month of service just to receive the unlock signal.

As another possible data point, I activated my 11 with the included $25 plan, then prior to the first month's expiration moved the phone/line back to my original 4 line account. Probably the same as having 2 months active service, but thought I would mention.

Speaking of which though, if I buy a refill card before my first month expires, can I redeem it immediately and expect it to only go into effect after my first month ends? Or do I have to wait until they day after my first month ends before redeeming it?
One of the guys I could find was ShawnMagm, but like you said his 2 month is around end of Feb.
When redeeming the refill, you have a choice to start it on the same day and forgo the rest of your current plan or to have it wait until your current plan expires and to start it automatically the day after that.
