Which would folks recommend, between the "Gainesville" (OP) and the "Atka" (quoted)? Use is probably general-usage and traveling (on planes, trains, buses).

Not expecting a difference in quality (or much quality ha) but wondering if one design is more suitable than the other, from others' experiences.

the non fold probably has thicker material,for actual use, op one is a soft sack

Gainesville (OP) backpack has two pockets on the outside for waterbottles (probably small diameter ones), while the Atka has daisychain attachment loops and a small pocket on the outside. For day hikes, my preference would be Gainesville. For every day use, my pick would be Atka.

love these when flying spirit.. they try to make me fit it in the personal item sizer, just dump your contents in, then ur set. Thx OP!

Do these work well as airplane personal items bags? Or are they too big to fit under the chair?
